Hospitals and urgent care centres on Venice proper, the Ospedale SS. Giovanni e Paolo hospital has an emergency department. A few km south of Lido, there’s also an emergency department at the Ospedale San Camilo-IRCC hospital
SHOPPING IN VENICE:
Venice shopping scene centres round boutiques and handcrafted goods, as well as a few fashion chains. there are markets for produce, and malls nearby on the mainland.
Small shops in Venice are generally open Monday to Saturday from 9amto 1:20 pm and 3 pm to 7:30 pm. Shops, supermarkets and business that are visitor-related usually stay open all day, as well as on Sunday. On any day, vendors may start packing up before closing time, so plan to arrive early if you want to see the market in full swing.
Malls in Venice
The closest thing to a mall in Venice is the shopping area at Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia railway station, with more than 30 shops that generally open from 9 am to 9:30 pm
Markets in Venice
The Rialto markets (by the Riator bridge) sells fresh fish, fruit and vegetables. Its open 7:30 am to 12:30 pm Tuesday to Saturday for fish and 7:30 am to 1:30 pm Monday to Sunday for fruits and vegetables.
